Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) recently announced its agreement with Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu India Private Limited (MSTI). With this, it will offer its customers an end-to-end solution for scrapping their End of Life Vehicles (ELVs). Under this, customers can get their older vehicles scrapped in a scientific and environment-friendly manner. With this tie-up, HCIL aims to assist its customers in getting the best value for their ELVs. Alongside this, it will also facilitate hassle-free deregistration and issuing of Certificate of Deposit/ Destruction through its dealer partners.

Key Features Of Scrappage Dealers

As part of the tie-up, the HCIL dealership, along with MSTI, will offer the customers a slew of benefits. This includes vehicle evaluation and quote creation for the scrappage value of the vehicle. These dealerships will also provide end-to-end services, including vehicle pick-up, transportation and dismantling at the MSTI scrap and recycling centre. Lastly, it will also issue the Certificate of Deposit/ Destruction from MSTI. This Certificate of Deposit/ Destruction will enable customers to claim eligible benefits under Vehicle Scrappage Policy. The customer will also get peace of mind and assurance that their old vehicle cannot be misused and, therefore no legal liability or hassle afterwards.

More Centers In The Future

MSTI is a government-approved ELV scrapping and recycling agency. The company is now setting up modern ELV scrap and recycling centres across the country. The service alliance will begin in Delhi NCR, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, with more planned in the coming days. The company will expand its coverage area in the future with the addition of new scrappage centres by MSTI.

The Vehicle Scrappage Policy by the Government of India encourages the scrappage and deregistration of old vehicles. This is to promote phasing out of unfit cars from the roads, improve safety and lower carbon footprint in India. With Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu India Private Limited, Honda is now offering a one-stop solution to our customers. This is the perfect way to scrap their old cars in a systematic and environmentally friendly manner.
