Honda has launched a new contactless digital sales channel through its official online website as a secure and safe platform to buy Honda Scooters and Motorcycles from the safety and convenience of home in times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the Govt. relaxes lockdown guidelines in non-contaminated areas and businesses resume with new guidelines, the notorious CoronoVirus has already infected 269,789 people in India with more than 20,000 deaths. The easiest way to avoid the infection is by staying indoors as much as possible and by maintaining social distancing.

The brand’s new digital approach for sales is in-line with the social distancing policies as it encourages prospective buyers to explore and select the Honda 2Wheeler of their choice from home without having the need to step outside, exposing themselves to the novel virus. The online booking platform offers just that and buyers can select the variant, colour & Honda authorized dealer of their choice and complete their booking in 6 easy steps.

The journey to buy a new Honda 2Wheeler begins by logging on to the Honda’s official website and clicking on the new ‘Book Now’ tab followed by a registrations page where the customer is required to fill up personal information which will allow the system to send the booking information and receipt to the respective e-mail and mobile phone.

Furthermore, the customer can choose from the brand’s vast scooter and motorcycle portfolio and select the model, colour, variant and location (state, city) after which an intuitive system shows the effective price of the model. The customer can then review their bookings and make any changes if required.

Post verification the customer is prompted to choose their preferred secured payment gateway such as PayTm, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI Bhim to pay an online booking amount of INR 1,999 and the amount is then transferred directly from the customer’s account to dealer selected by the customer.

The customer is then furnished with a Unique Booking Number via mail & SMS which will be used in all further communication with the dealership and in case of cancellation the full booking amount is refunded to the customer without deducting any transaction charges.
