Vida has announced the commencement of its public charging infrastructure. Initially, the emerging mobility brand of Hero MotoCorp will start in the cities of Bengaluru, Delhi and Jaipur.
300 charging points across 50 locations already set up
Vida has already set-up almost 300 charging points. These are installed at 50 key locations spread across the three cities. The charging network will help Vida customers to top up their scooter’s battery using the fast charging network. All these charging points will have DC and AC charging sockets. Vida says the scooter owners will be able to charge the batteries at a rate of 1.2 km every minute at these locations.
MyVida mobile App
Users can also download the MyVida app to keep track of the charging network. Users will be able to see the nearest charging station, its availability as well as reserve a charging spot at the location. Further, the app will also help in navigating to the station. The payment process for the charging will also be integrated in the MyVida app.
Customers can use the ‘My VIDA’ mobile App for the end-to-end charging journey. They will be able to locate their nearest charging station, view its availability, reserve a charging slot and navigate to the station from the App. The entire payment process will also be managed through the App.
