Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has released its latest sales report. The company posted a total sales of 4,54,582 units in October 2022. With the festivals of Dussehra and Diwali, sales got a significant boost in the month of October this year. Hero mentioned the dispatch sales of October are not comparable to the previous years. This is because the festival days are usually spread across the months of October and November.

During the 32-day festive season, Hero posted strong double-digit retail growth. The figure stood at 20 per cent over the corresponding festive period of FY ’22. This further strengthens the brand’s leadership in the domestic two-wheeler market and increases in retail market share. Hero also mentioned that a strong festive season has also helped reduce post-festive total inventory to the lowest in the previous 5 years. This further acts as an indicator of growth in the second half of the year.
