Written by Kanad Kalasur

Hero is gearing up to launch the new Maestro Xoom. Now, new official documents have revealed the variant composition of the scooter along with more details. This new scooter will sit along the Maestro brand, but carve out a niche identity for itself in this hotly-contested scooter segment.

Hero Maestro Xoom : More Details

Hero will offer the Maestro Xoom in three variants – LX, VX and ZX. Further, this new scooter will be lighter than the Maestro Edge by almost 2 kg.

The scooter also comes with a longer wheelbase of 1,300 mm. In comparison, the maestro Edge has a 1,261 mm wheelbase. In terms of width as well, the Xoom is narrower than the Edge. That said, when seeing the height of the two scooters, the Xoom is quite shorter. The Xoom measures 1,177 mm compared to 1,800 mm of the Edge.

In terms of variants, the Maestro Xoom will be offered in three choices – LX, VX and the ZX. Here, the Maestro Xoom ZX is almost 1 kg heavier than the other two and is slightly wider as well.

Powertrain of the Hero Maestro Xoom

Hero has equipped the Maestro Xoom with the same 110.9cc unit from the Pleasure + and the Maestro Edge 110. This engine develops 8 HP and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. That said, by managing to shelve the weight of the scooter, despite increasing the dimensions will make this pretty peppy to ride.

The Hero Maestro Edge 110 is offered in two variants – ZX drum and ZX disc. Conversely, it appears as if the Hero Maestro Xoom will be offered in three distinct variants – LX, VX and ZX. The ZX variant is wider as well as a kilo heavier than the other two.

Launch of the Hero Maestro Xoom

Hero is planning to launch this new scooter on January 30, 2023. The pricing as well as more details are expected to be released on this date.
