Hero MotoCorp has launched a new motorbike. The Super Splendor XTEC starts at INR 83,368 for the drum variant and INR 87,268 for the disc variant, ex-showroom Delhi. This bike builds upon the trust of the Splendor brand and takes it further ahead in the 125cc segment.
What’s new in the Hero Super Splendor XTEC?
The new Super Splendor is a visual delight in terms of design. The bike comes with LED headlamp, high intensity position lamp and a newly designed visor. The headlamp has been redesigned as well. The rims tapes add to the bike’s design. Hero has also equipped the bike with dual tone stripes to increase its style and elegance.
In terms of features, the Hero Super Splendor XTEC comes with a fully digital speedometer, low fuel indicator and real time mileage indicator. This gives the rider a clear view of the ride and thus he/she is able to extract the maximum fuel economy. The bike also comes with a nifty USB charger that enables charging while on the move. Safety features include side-stand engine cutoff.
In terms of colour options, owners will be able to choose amongst Gloss Black, Candy Blazing Red and Matt Axis Grey colour schemes.
Connectivity features of the Hero Super Splendor XTEC
Hero has offered Bluetooth connectivity on this motorcycle. It comes with call and SMS alerts, as well as phone battery level.
Powertrain of the Hero Super Splendor XTEC
Hero has offered a 125cc BS-6 engine with the Super Splendor XTEC. This engine is rated at 10.7 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.6 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The company claims that the bike delivers a fuel economy of 68 km/l.
Apart from this, the bike also gets an idle start/stop system. Hero calls it the i3S and it offers better performance, comfort and mileage.
