Hero MotoCorp has introduced the new Glamour Xtec in the Indian market, priced at INR 78,900 ex-showroom, ex-showroom Delhi. The Hero MotoCorp Glamour Xtec comes in two variants – Drum and Disc. The Drum variant is priced at INR 78,900, and the Disc brake model comes with the price tag of INR 83,500 ex-showroom, Delhi.
In the Xtec avatar, the Hero MotoCorp Glamour comes with features such as LED headlamps, a bank angle sensor and a side stand cut-off switch. The brand also offers first-in-segment features like Bluetooth connectivity, integrated USB charger and turn-by-turn navigation. The brand also provides the motorcycle with new colour options, and the bike is available to order from all Hero MotoCorp dealerships in the country.
Powering the Hero MotoCorp Glamour is a BS6 compliant 125cc air-cooled engine with an XSens Programmed Fuel Injection system. Hero claims that the new engine with the sophisticated electronic system is 7% more fuel-efficient. The engine produces 10.7 BHP of power and 10.6 Nm of torque. The Glamour Xtec also comes with an i3S (idle start-stop system), along with Auto Sail Technology that combines performance with comfort. The motorcycle also features a 240mm disc brake on the front and a 180mm high ground clearance.
The Hero MotoCorp Glamour Xtec comes with turn-by-turn navigation with integrated Google map connectivity. The instruments cluster also comes with Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts and integrated USB charging. The fully-digital instruments cluster also features Tachometer, Gear Position Indicator, Eco Mode, and Real-Time Mileage Indicator (RTMi).
The Hero MotoCorp Glamour Xtec comes with an LED headlamp and an H-Signature position lamp. The brand boasts that the headlamp comes with 34% more headlight intensity. The motorcycle also comes with 3D branding, blue accents for a new Matte colour and new rim tapes. The brand also offers safety features such as a segment-first ‘Side-stand Engine cut-off’, visual indication for the side stand and a bank angle sensor that cuts off the engine in case of a fall.
