Hero MotoCorp has announced the sales numbers for the month of December 2022. According to the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooter, the company dispatched 3,94,179 units last month. Further, the company sold more than 40.58 lakh units in the first three quarters of the FY 2022- 23 (April-December). This means a growth of 8 percent over the corresponding period in the previous fiscal (FY’22). In the same period last year, Hero sold 37.55 lakh units.
Festive season fuels growth for Hero MotoCorp
Thanks to the upcoming marriage and festive season across the country, Hero expects good momentum in sales. Further, the improving consumer sentiment thanks to the favourable macroeconomic indicators will only fuel the sales of the company.
In terms of new launches, Hero MotoCorp launched the XPulse 200T 4Valve. This bike has better touring capabilities, state of the art technologies as well as significant improvements in the field of design and performance compared to the bike it replaced.
Other initiatives by Hero MotoCorp
Hero also hosted the World Challenge, a PGA invitational Tour. This golf tournament featured 20 of the top golfers in the world. Viktor Hovland won the prestigious tournament. This is his second consecutive HWC victory.
Hero also expanded its ‘We Care’ initiative. Now, the bike maker has partnered with the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) to support the development as well as training of differently-abled athletes. To better support these athletes, the organization will offer world-class facilities, equipment, and professional training to enhance the athlete’s skills and hone their talent.
Also in the month of December 2022, the Hero MotoSports Team Rally unveiled its rider lineup for the Dakar Rally 2023. The motorsport team of Hero MotoCorp, announced four team members – Franco Caimi, Joaquim Rodrigues, Ross Branch and Sebastian Buhler. The 2023 Dakar Rally began from December 31, 2022.
