Hero Electric launches Dash scooter for INR 62,000

Hero Electric has launched the new Dash scooter priced at INR 62,000. The brand claims that the Dash is one of their high-quality e-scooter and it was showcased along with the Optima ER priced at INR 68,721 and Nyx ER priced at INR 69,754 ex-showroom.

The Hero Electric Dash scooter is powered by a 48v, 28 aH Lithium-Ion batter which gets a full charge with fast charging in 4 hours and a range of 60 km / charge. The Dash has a 145mm ground clearance and has features such as LED DRLs, LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, digital instrument cluster, tubeless tyres, dual-tone body colours, charging point, tubeless tyres and remote boot opening.

The Optima ER & Nyx ER have also received an extended riding range and come with a dual Lithium-Ion battery with a total riding range of 110 km and 100 km / charge respectively. The brand claims that with the use of Hero Electric scooters, daily motorists can save more than INR 1,00,000 in 2 years.

Hero Electric wants their scooters to be used in B2B sector which would reduce carbon footprint and also allow for a cost efficient delivery solution. Hero Electric will invest further to produce and develop more scooters to offer a switch from ICE two-wheelers. All Hero Electric products are eligible to get subsidies under the FAME II scheme and also low GST rates.

Hero Electric currently has 615 touchpoints and will bump that up to 1,000 by the end of 2020 to have more customers.
