Harley-Davidson confirms new motorcycles for Indian market

Harley-Davidson has confirmed that the company will be launching the MY2023 range of bikes in the Indian market soon. The American bike maker has listed four motorcycles. These include the Heritage Classic, Fat Boy 114, Street Glide, and Road Glide. That said, the Milwaukee-based firm has not confirmed the exact launch date for the aforementioned bikes.

The Heritage Classic is from the touring range of motorcycles that Harley-Davidson offers. It comes with an 1,868cc engine that develops 92.5 BHP and 155 Nm of peak torque. It weighs around 330 kg and comes with a 18.9-litre fuel tank.

Next up is the Fat Boy 114. This is a cruiser-style bike that gets a rear suspension. A part of the Harley’s Softail range, the bike comes with one of the widest wheels on a production bike. The front wheel is 160 mm wide while the rear is a 240 mm wide tyre. The Fat Boy 114 comes with a 1,868 cc motor good for 161 Nm.

The Street Glide is one of the-top-of -the-line bikes from the Harley stable. This cruiser bike comes with disc brakes on both ends, anti-lock braking system and offers a comfortable ride that is unmatched by many motorbikes. The Street Glide tips the scales at 375 kg and gets a 1,868 cc engine with a torque of 163 Nm.

The Harley-Davidson Road Glide comes with twin-pod headlights, a semi-fairing, windscreen, and side panniers to carry your luggage. The bike also gets cruise control and a boom box music system with a small display and Bluetooth. The bike is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine that delivers 163 Nm of peak torque

Apart from the aforementioned bikes, the company is also likely to launch the limited edition versions of them. These will include a special Heirloom Red Fade colour job along with a 1903-2023 : 120 Years badge commemorating the brands 120 year’s history.
