The Indian EV company focused on electric commercial vehicles, Euler Motors, has unveiled its first cargo three-wheeler, HiLoad EV. Along with being India’s most powerful 3W Cargo vehicle, it boasts the highest payload capacity among all 3W’s, including ICE. The HiLoad EV produces the highest battery power at 12.4 kWh and has a certified range of 151 Km.
Designed specifically for India, the e-3W comes with six segment-first features in its category delivering high performance. Euler Motors claims that the HiLoad EV offers a long-running life to tackle the unpredictable Indian roads and weather conditions. The company has priced the HiLoad EV at INR 3,49,999 via retail stores with easy EMI support. Euler Motors has also opened the pre-booking process for the HiLoad EV across India.
2021 HiLoad EV: Technical Details
The HiLoad EV’s battery pack contains an inbuilt thermal management system and liquid cooling technology, allowing for maximum efficiency. The battery pack enables the e-3W to run on any gradient and withstand temperatures whilst offering a long-lasting battery life. The battery is IP67 certified to ensure that the vehicle provides high-end performance and efficient operations in waterlogging scenarios. Euler Motors has equipped the HiLoad EV with advanced telematics and software assistance for fleet tracking, battery monitoring, and real-time charging.
The HiLoad EV is the first in its class to sport 200 mm front disc brakes for improved stopping performance. Along with producing 10.96 kW of power and 88.55 Nm of torque, the e-3W provides increased manoeuvrability. The HiLoad EV offers high ground clearance, better grade ability, higher speed, and acceleration for improved on-road performance. Euler Motors has ensured to design the e-3W to provide best-in-class space, payload, power, pickup, low-maintenance, and smart ergonomics.
Euler Motors provides a new ‘Charge on Wheels’ mobile service station for charging or servicing the vehicle in any scenario. The HiLoad EV comes with three new advanced charging variants with home or onboard chargers provided by the company. Euler also offers lightning chargers that provide a 50 km charge in 15 minutes for enhanced customer convenience. Currently, the company manages a 200+ charging infrastructure network in the Delhi NCR region to support EVs on the road.
2021 HiLoad EV: Future Plans
Several Indian e-commerce players currently deploy over 250+ vehicles for their last-mile delivery requirements by partnering with Euler Motors. Companies such as BigBasket, Flipkart, and Udaan placed an order for 2500 EVs for intra-city deliveries in India. These also include other e-commerce, hyperlocal, and B2B delivery players who’ve also gone ahead with the same strategy. The cities where companies plan to deploy Euler’s EV are Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
Companies will utilize this strategy to strengthen and transform their first, mid, and last-mile operations. Euler Motors claims that the scheduled deliveries of the vehicles will take place in the coming 6-8 months. The company also aims to deploy 5,000 units of EV’s on the road by 2023. Euler Motors has planned to expand itself to other cities such as Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune.
