Hero Electric opens new dealership in Mysore, Karnataka

One of India’s largest electric two-wheeler companies, Hero Electric, has expanded its presence in Karnataka by unveiling its 2nd dealership. Located at Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamyji, Suthur Mutt in Mysore, the EV Auto House dealership meets rising customer demand. The dealership’s spread across a 1400 sq. ft area with sales-service space and enables customers to choose their electric two-wheeler.

Green Mobility Benefits plus Long Battery Warranty

The brand encourages customers to own electric two-wheelers, which offer lower running costs, high performance, and enhanced riding comfort. Along with justifying their value with proven reliability, the e-scooters offer various customizable features and a 3-year battery warranty. Hero Electric offers a 5-year warranty for the e-scooter except for its battery and charger with no additional costs or conditions.

The brand has led the EV sector in India for over a decade by committing towards providing greener mobility. Following its ‘No Emission’ mission, the brand currently has over 1650+ charging stations in India. With the aim of having 20,000 charging points by 2022, the brand has over 700+ sales and service outlets. This includes the top metro cities, small towns, and mid-size metros across India.

Hero Electric has also announced its goal of acquiring 1,000 sales touchpoints in India by the end of FY2022. The brand aims to open up 300 new sales touchpoints due to being India’s largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer. The rise in demand for EVs comes courtesy of consumer-friendly policies from the central and state governments. Contributing factors for Hero Electric’s decision include better infrastructure, heightened awareness, and adoption of EVs among the masses.

The brand also wishes to set up its dealerships across remote towns and near highways in India for increased sales. Hero Electric offers its electric two-wheelers in two segments, namely ‘city-speed’ and ‘comfort-speed’. The former provides the Optima HX and NYX HX, whereas the latter offers the Atria and the Flash. The four two-wheelers on offer continue to remain its most affordable EVs by fulfilling a plethora of rider requirements.

Despite the pandemic, the brand has sustained its dealerships throughout India by selling over 4 lakh e-scooters. During the pandemic, the company ensured the wellness and safety of its employees via mental health training and Yoga sessions. Thanks to incorporating digital sales for employees to boost their morale, the company boosted productivity by maintaining constant engagement.
