Ola Electric has unveiled its plans for the next 2 years. The EV maker aims to launch multiple electric motorcycles and scooters by 2024. As of now, Ola has three electric scooters in its product portfolio. These are the S1 Pro, the S1 and the most affordable of them all, the recently launched S1 Air.
New Ola Electric Scooters and Motorcycles In Making
In a blog on the company’s website, Ola Electric’s founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal mentioned new plans. Ola plans to launch new electric motorcycles by 2024. This will cater to both premium as well as mass-market segments.
The first launch of 2023 will most likely be a mass-market scooter. However, it is unclear whether the scooter mentioned is the Ola S1 Air or an entirely different product.
Ola also has plans to branch out into the e-motorcycle segment. The plan is for multiple premium offerings in various body styles. This includes a cruiser, an adventure bike, a sportbike and even a mass-market offering. As such, these bikes will lock their horns against the likes of the Ultraviolette F77, Tork Kratos R, Oben Rorr and Revolt RV400. However, Ola e-bikes will only arrive no sooner than 2024. Currently, scooters are the predominant focus till then.
Alongside this, the article also reflected the fact that Ola’s first electric car will arrive sometime in 2024. And that by 2027, Ola will have a total of six different four-wheelers in the market.
Ola Has Big Plans Big For The Future
Given the growing demand for electric vehicles, Ola has big plans. The current products from Ola are doing pretty well. Initially, there were some concerns with the quality issues. But now with multiple iterations and updates, the products are doing pretty well in the market. With new products flowing out of the pipeline, Ola will stay relevant in the market, keeping itself updated.
