Earth Energy recently unveiled the new electric scooter Glyde SX and Glyde SX+ in the Indian market. The electric scooter segment has been flooding with new electric mobility companies all competing to offer affordable EVs in the Indian market. The Government of India is also offering a number of incentives to customers as well as subsidies to EV manufacturers. Earth Energy Glyde SX & SX+ – Prices

The Earth Energy Glyde SX comes with a price tag of INR 79,000 ex-showroom, while the Glyde SX+ costs INR 97,000 ex-showroom in Andhra Pradesh. The Glyde SX costs INR 73,000 ex-showroom, while the SX+ comes with a sticker price of INR 97,000 ex-showroom in Gujarat. In Kerala, the Glyde SX comes with a price tag of INR 74,000 ex-showroom, while the SX+ comes with a price tag of INR 97,000 ex-showroom. 

The brand offers the Glyde SX at the price of INR 74,000 ex-showroom and the SX+ at the price of INR 95,000 ex-showroom in Maharashtra. In Telangana, the Glyde SX will cost INR 79,900 ex-showroom while the SX+ costs INR 97,000 ex-showroom. In Karnataka, the Glyde SX and SX+ come with a sticker price of INR 79,999 ex-showroom and INR 98,175 ex-showroom, respectively. The Glyde SX and SX+ are priced INR 78,000 ex-showroom and INR 1,00,000, respectively, in Tamil Nadu. 

Earth Energy Glyde SX & SX+ – Technical Specifications

The Earth Energy Glyde SX and SX+ come with a 3.9 kW battery pack and an electric motor that offers 12% grade-ability. The entry-level SX variant of the e-scooter produces 74 Nm of torque. The brand offers a top speed of 25 kmph in the Glyde SX. The brand also claims that the SX will return a riding range of 150 Km on a single charge. The SX variant sports a fast-charging time of 40 minutes. Also, riders do not require a license to ride the SX variant of the Glyde e-scooter due to its low speed.

The SX+ variant of the e-scooter produces 104 Nm of torque and claims a top speed of 90 kmph. The scooter also comes with a fast-charging time of 40 minutes. The SX+ variant comes with a driving range of 100 Km per charge. However, riders do require a driving license to ride the SX+ variant of the Glyde e-scooter. Both the Glyde SX and SX+ come with a charging time of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
