Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has unveiled its latest limited-edition Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse priced at INR 10,99,000 lakh. Ducati has created the new bike to commemorate the collaboration between its Scrambler series and the American clothing brand, Fasthouse. The previous year saw rider Jordan Graham take victory with the Scrambler in the Hooligan class of the Mint 400. The Mint 400 is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race held in America
2021 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse: Design and Color
The bike sports a new black and grey combined geometric livery on the fuel tank with Scrambler and Fasthouse logos. Ducati has aimed to reproduce the design used on bikes that competed in the Mint 400 with this colour scheme. Limited to just 800 units, the bike features an aluminium plate on the frame that showcases the unique serial number.
Along with a new seat with an anti-slip cover, the bike features a ‘Ducati Red’ coloured steel tube trellis frame. Ducati has equipped the Scrambler with new 19-inch black spoked wheels up front and 17-inches at the rear. Other design details include a high front mudguard, extended rear fender, high plate holder, and a variable cross-section handlebar.
2021 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse: Technical Specifications
Powering the new Scrambler is an 803cc, L-twin engine producing 73 PS of power and 66.2 Nm of torque. Paired to a 6-speed transmission, the bike contains all the elements of the Ducati ‘Land of Joy’ Desert Sled models. Ducati offers the bike with a customizable riding position along with a seat height of 860mm and adjustable Kayaba suspension. Ducati offers the Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR front tires for the best off-roading performance.
The front 46mm fully-adjustable forks and the rear aluminium double-sided swingarm monoshock suspension set up enable 200mm of wheel travel. In terms of braking performance, Ducati offers the bike with a 330mm front brake disc, a 4-piston radial calliper, and Bosch Cornering ABS as standard. At the rear, the bike features a 245mm brake disc with a 1-piston floating calliper and Bosch Cornering ABS as standard.
