Ducati has introduced new racing accessories for the Ducati Panigale V4 supersport motorcycle. The new track-focused equipment not only lightens the motorcycle but also increases its power.
Ducati Panigale V4 Akrapovic Exhaust System
The first performance upgrade that comes to mind when enhancing a motorcycle is the exhaust system. Ducati in partnership with Akrapovic is offering a complete Titanium exhaust assembly. The Slovenian brand is working with Ducati experience to make the exclusive exhaust system. The brand has developed a special titanium alloy and each section of the exhaust is made with this alloy to keep the weight light and offer high-temperature resistance. The exhaust claims to ‘Dramatically’ increase the power-to-weight ratio of the motorcycle.
Dry Clutch Kit
The brand is also offering a dry clutch system similar to MotoGP machines. As an accessory, Ducati is offering the STM EVO-SBK clutch which houses a 48-tooth plate pack made from billet aluminium. The clutch pack comes with 9 driven and 9 lined clutch plates with a diameter of 138 mm. This enables enhanced power handling on the race track. This comes as standard on the Panigale V4 R. The dry clutch pack also ensures a more effective slipper function, offering fluidity during aggressive downshifts and off-throttle stages. The brand is also offering a secondary clutch spring to customise engine braking function. The clutch system also benefits from the absence of resistance from engine oil and cleaner oil as well as plate wear dust that is not circulated into the system.
Magnesium Rims
Ducati is offering lightweight forged magnesium performance alloy wheels in the signature 9-spoke design. The rims not only reduce weight and rotational mass but also offer style and performance. The rims also help decrease the overall weight of the motorcycle making it sharper in the corner and offers more control in and out of corners.
Aluminium Adjustable Rider Foot Pegs and Rubber Hand Grips
Ducati in partnership with Rizoma has developed adjustable footpegs made from high quality anodised aluminium alloy. The footpegs allow 6 different settings and come with fold away gear changer and foot brake lever, minimising the risk of breakage. The pegs use the standard DQS (Ducati QuickShifter). The brand also offers racing-inspired handgrips that not only offer optimised hand grip but also reduce vibrations.
Carbon Fibre parts
The Ducati Panigale V4 comes with accessories such as a carbon fibre tank cover, carbon fibre front fender, carbon fibre clutch cover, carbon fibre heel guard, carbon and titanium swingarm cover and carbon chain-guard. The brand also offers a racing seat in technical fabric, billet aluminium tank cap, rear fender eliminator and brake lever protectors in the list of accessories.
