GT 63 S E Performance is the latest entrant in Mercedes-Benz’s AMG lineup. The car gets a combination of a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine and electric motor, thus ensuring ruthless power delivery. Moreover, the use of AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system makes the driver even more exciting and fun. Mercedes Benz has confirmed that the launch will happen in April 2022 for the European market. Customers planning to get one will have to match Mercedes Benz’s asking base price of EUR 196,897.40. The Edition model is costlier by 21,777 Euros.
Performance Madness
The overall performance figure reads as 843 HP and1400 Nm. This is enough to propel the car from standstill to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, blisteringly fast indeed. The fun does not stop here, 200 kmph comes in less than 10 seconds, and the car maxes out all the way up to 316 kmph. The equipped AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension adjusts the damping force for each wheel to suit the situation in just a few milliseconds. Furthermore, this system allows the driver to opt for the ‘Comfort’ setting for more sedate driving. AMG’s DYNAMICS driving dynamics control system balances the all-wheel drive and the electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential. This assists the driver in having the utmost control of the vehicle’s handling.
Wide Range Of Customization Options
This new Special Edition comes with an attractive AMG Green Hell Magno paint finish. Drivers get the perfect taste of mechanical prowess and aesthetic appeal. In addition to this, customers also get a wide range of customization packs. For the exteriors, Mercedes Benz is providing two options in the form of AMG Night Package and AMG Night Package II. There’s also the option to opt for an optional panoramic roof that lets plenty of light into the vehicle interior. For someone not liking the Green Hell, paint shade can get the Dark Gemstone Rubellite Red shade. For this, the Exterior Package is in high-gloss chrome with silver-painted. Other highlights include high-sheen, and 21-inch AMG forged wheels in a 5-twin-spoke design.
