Check out the 2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom

Rolls-Royce has unveiled the new Phantom Series II. The updated model brings subtle changes to the flagship model. These changes include minor tweaks to the styling and additional colour options by taking customer feedback.

The company has not announced pricing for the Phantom Series II. However, we expect it to be around the same as the previous Phantom. Since most Rolls-Royce buyers opt for bespoke features, we will see a lot of special editions and one-offs soon.

2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II – Highlights

The exterior of the car features minimal changes. These changes are difficult to spot for the untrained eye. Rolls-Royce says this was actually its goal, to preserve the timeless look of the Phantom. One of the most important updates is the illuminated Pantheon Grille. The grille is now similar to the Ghost and gets a new polished horizontal line. It looks like an extension of the daytime running lights. Additionally, the full-LED headlights now feature laser-cut bezel starlights.

The bodywork of the Phantom remains the same. However, two new wheel designs are available to freshen up the side look. One of the two wheel designs is the disc wheel. The design is a throwback to the Rolls-Royces of the 1920s. It will be available in polished stainless steel or a black lacquer finish. The other new wheel option is a milled stainless steel wheel design with triangular facets. It will be available in part or fully polished finish. Additionally, after popular demand, Rolls-Royce is also offering the option of a darkened chrome grille, black bonnet reins, side frame finishers and windscreen surround.

Commemorating the launch of the Phantom Series II, the company also unveiled the Phantom Platino. The bespoke model showcases the model’s limitless personalisation options. The Phantom Platino comes with leather seats at the front and fabric seats at the back. However, being Rolls-Royce, it is not just any fabric. The two different fabric materials are made in an Italian mill and bamboo fibres. They have a textured pattern and also appear on the 3D-printed ceramic timepiece on the dashboard.

2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II – Connected Technology

The Rolls-Royce might be old-school, but it is high on tech with the latest “Rolls-Royce Connected” feature. The feature allows owners to send the destination address from the smartphone to the car’s navigation through its smartphone application. The private Whispers application can also display the status and location of the vehicle on the owner’s smartphone.

2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II – Powertrain

Rolls-Royce does not mention any mechanical changes. Hence, the Phantom Series II continues to use the 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12. The engine produces 571 PS and 900 Nm of torque. A full-electric version is on the cards after the Spectre, which will debut in 2024.
