BSA launched the B65 Scrambler, a motorcycle based on the Goldstar 650, a few days ago. The bike has already launched in the UK and will be on sale somewhere around the middle of 2025. There are plans to launch the B65 Scrambler in India as well.
Delivery of B65 Scrambler:
Official deliveries of the Scrambler are expected to start in early 2026. The Goldstar 650 was launched in India a few months ago and it showcased satisfactory performance in the Indian market. Looking at this positive response by the customers, it appears that the brand has already made plans to increase the number of 650cc motorcycles it offers in India
Powertrain:
The B65 gets a 650cc single-cylinder engine that generates the power of 47 bhp and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. This is the same powertrain as seen on the Goldstar 650.
Features:
With a redesigned frame and sporty looking tail section, the B65 is equipped with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres and 19-17-inch spoke wheels. Additionally, it has number boards and a single exhaust pipe. To complement its scrambler feature, it has also been provided with an elevated front mudguard. It also gets a new handlebar along with a cross brace.
B65 Scrambler Price:
In India, the BSA Goldstar 650 is priced at INR 3 lakh (ex-showroom). So it is likely that the B65 will be on the higher side of the price and cost at least Rs 30,000 more. The high-spec variants may cost up to INR 40,000 more than the Goldstar 650.
BSA Goldstar 650 Specification:
The bike has a 652 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motorcycle that generates a power of 45.6 bhp at 6500 rpm and a torque of 55 Nm at 4000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It comes with a dual-channel ABS and disc brake at both front and rear. In the Suspension area, it has a telescopic hydraulic fork at the front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear
