Honda has started retail sales of their BS6 product portfolio in India with the Activa 125 & SP 125 mass market two-wheelers and both of them fall in the 125cc category. The brand reveals that they have clocked over 60,000 unit sales of these BS6 compliant two-wheelers already and that all other products would be upgraded to BS6 ahead of the deadline.

Thanks to the features such as ACG starter motor and Enhanced Smart Power eSP; the new BS6 products are much quieter to operate. The ACG motor helps in a fast, quiet and jerk free start which enhances the riding experience. Also, apart from the BS6 engines, the significant add on is the 6-year warranty package which is an industry first. The sales milestone is key to Honda as they have not even started nationwide distribution of these BS6 products.
