Royal Enfield has now offered extended warranty on their range of motorcycles under the Ride Sure initiative. Royal Enfield bikes will now come with an extended warranty of 4 years / 50,000 km. There will be 3 packages which include Ride Sure basic offering extended warranty from 2-4 years; Ride Sure Basic Plus which offers RSA for 2nd, 3rd & 4th year and the Ride Sure Premium package which includes all of the above along with replacement for cables, brake shoes & brake pads for 4 years.
Extended warranty is expected to help customers have more faith in the brand for a long term ownership and the components covered under Ride Sure include engine clinder head, petrol tank, pushrod assembly, engine block parts, carburettor / fuel-injetion, sensors, gearbox, magneto cover, subframe parts, piston & connecting rod, clutch sprag, fuel pipes, frame assembly, throttle body parts, cam plate, starter motor, shock absorbers, engine bearings, ECU, valve components, front fork, brake callipers, oil cooler, oil pump and a few other critical components.
