BMW Motorrad India adds one more dealership to its network in India, which is in Vijayawada, Andra Pradesh. JSP Motorrad located at door No. 54-16-20/13A-2F, 101, Ground Floor, Bhavishya’s Pride, Veterinary Colony, Ring Road, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – 520008 is the newest addition under the BMW Motorrad India dealership network which will aim to cater to the demand in the region.
BMW Motorrad claims that this new showroom equipped with all the latest technology will play an important role to provide the customers with a very positive and hassle-free ownership experience. The showroom will display a total of 4 motorcycles along with that it will also have BMW Motorrad’s official accessories, merchandise and lifestyle products. All the work accomplished under the after-sales service will follow BMW’s international standards including sales, spare parts, business systems and more. Given the current situation of the rising Covid-19 cases, the facility will follow a comprehensive sanitisation process of all the touchpoints, display vehicles and workstations.
BMW Motorrad And Its Current Lineup Of Products
Under the current portfolio, BMW Motorrad has a total of 11 products. In the Sports segment, there are two products namely, S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR. The Adventure segment consists of 5 nameplates, which includes, R 1250 GS, R 1250 GSA, 900 XR, S 1000 XR and G 310 GS. The Roadster genre consists of the F 900 R, R 1250 R and G 310 R. And lastly, under the Heritage segment, there are 3 products – R 18, R nineT and R nineT Scrambler.
New Launches and Other News
BMW Motorrad recently launched the M 1000 RR in India, which has a sticker price of INR 42,00,000 and comes to India via the CBU route. It gets a 999 cc four-cylinder engine that makes 212 HP of power and 113 Nm of torque. The German two-wheeler maker had also updated the R nineT and R nineT Scrambler to meet the BS-6 emission norms and like, the M 1000 RR, this also comes in via the CBU route and hence, the 2021 BMW R NineT retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 18.50 lakh meanwhile the Scrambler edition retails at INR 16.75 lakh.
