BMW will be increasing prices across their model range starting from January 2015.
The company hasn’t revealed the exact reason for the price hike. The company however mentions that it wants to maintain its premium positioning in the market.
BMW currently has 37 dealerships in India and wish to increase this number to 50 dealerships by the end of 2015.
Expected price hike is in the range of 5%.
Audi is already dominating the #1 luxury car manufacturer status in India with Mercedes-Benz soon catching up. BMW has to maintain competitive pricing if they want to stay in this race.
