The 220i M Sport is the new base model in the 2 Series line-up. Hence it now comes with a sportier body kit, door sills with M inscription, M lettering on keyfob and more. It also gets new LED fogs and 17-inch M-Spec alloy wheels. The new top-end M Sport Pro comes with a satin aluminium finish on the grille as the only visual differentiator on the outside.
The 220d M Sport diesel remains unchanged on the outside.
Coming to interior features, the car now gets a new head-up display. The 220i M Sport comes with a new audio system and all-black interiors. The 220d M Sport and the 220i M Sport Pro come with a new dual tone interior theme using black and beige colours. They also get an M-Spec steering wheel.
There are no changes made to the engines on offer. The 2 Series continues to be offered with a chance of 2-litre petrol or diesel engines. The diesel unit makes 190 HP and 400 Nm while the petrol motor churns out 192 HP and 280 Nm of peak torque.
The diesel gets an 8-speed automatic while the petrol comes with a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. Power is sent to the front wheels in both cases.
