Benelli India has released teasers of the updated model of the TRK 502X. Although there’s no official statement from Benelli regarding the changes in the new model but from the images, it is evident that the motorcycle will most likely have a new colour option. Currently, Benelli TRK 502X comes in three shades which are white, red and grey. The chances are high that the motorcycle won’t get any mechanical changes as well.
Benelli TRK 502X – A Brief Overview
This is an adventure class motorcycle that recently got an update to comply with BS6 emission norms. Powering the motorcycle is a 500cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder in-line engine that makes 47.5 PS and 46 Nm. The equipped gearbox is a 6-speed unit that also gets a gear position indicator. This aids the rider to choose the best gear depending upon the riding conditions. The steel trellis frame gets the support of a long-travel upside-down front fork suspension and an adjustable mono-shock on the rear. This setup is ideal for an adventure-based motorcycle-like TRK 502X to traverse over rough and rocky terrain.
Braking power comes from 320mm floating discs at the front along with a 2-piston calliper. Meanwhile, the rear gets a single 260mm disc with one piston calliper. A dual-channel ABS is a standard offering for the motorcycle. Furthermore, to enhance the off-road capability, Benelli is using 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked rims. Key updated features of the motorcycle include knuckle guards with aluminium brackets, console with a white and amber lit digital display, rider controls with backlit function, redesigned mirrors that are longer and broader than before, newly designed double-threaded seats, black-finish handlebar with a Benelli logo, pitch level indicator, new cast aluminium rear box bracket and more.
Price Details
The current model on sale comes with a sticker price of INR 5.45 lakhs. Benelli mentioned that customers can book their product by paying INR 10,000 as the booking amount. To provide peace of mind, Benelli is also providing a 3-Year Unlimited KMS Warranty as standard on the TRK 502X.
