Bajaj Auto has released a mysterious teaser for its eagerly awaited, fully-faired pulsar bike. This has surely created a buzz in the biker’s town and increased enthusiast speculation.

The teaser video was posted on the business’s social media handles following the caption, “The sound is enough. You already know what it is.. or do you?” The teaser has sparked debates on whether this is the upgraded Pulsar RS 200 or the brand-new Pulsar RS 400, even though it doesn’t specifically identify the model.

Can it be Pulsar RS 200?

The only Pulsar model that has not yet received an update is the RS 200. The 2024 RS 200 is anticipated to get new colour schemes. It will also get new LED headlamps and a fully digital instrument console, along with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.

Engine

The bike’s 199.5cc, liquid-cooled engine, which generates 24.1 bhp and 18.7 Nm of torque, is probably going to stay the same. But it may have better handling and design features like upside-down forks.

What if its Pulsar RS 400?

On the other hand, the teaser might be a preview of the brand-new Pulsar RS 400. This bike will have more potential and performance output than the RS 200. The RS 400 is anticipated to include a bold style, an aerodynamic fairing, and cutting-edge technology.

All of these are based on the platform of the recently released Pulsar NS400. A digital console with Bluetooth, all-LED lighting, and riding modes designed for track performance could be the main features in the new Pulsar RS 400

Expected price and launch date:

The new Pulsar is anticipated to fetch a higher price than the previous model, which can be INR 1,74,419 (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is anticipated to launch in January 2025. Further, it will rival models such as the Yamaha R15, Hero Karizma XMR and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
