Bajaj Auto announces the start of the vaccination drive to cover all the employees, contract workers, and family members. The company mentioned that the vaccination process is now open for all eligible members 18 years of age and above. This vaccination drive has started at Bajaj’s manufacturing plant locations, including Akurdi, Waluj, and Chakan. All the employees, contract workers, and their family members will receive the jab free of cost. As per plans, the vaccination drive will start in the Pantnagar plant on June 5, 2021. This vaccination drive will then open up at other places across the country in a phased manner.
Bajaj To Take Up Vaccination Drive For 20,000 Personnel
The company mentioned that it would administer the beneficiaries the Covishield jab. Close to 20,000 personnel, including the employees, contract workers, and their family members, are a part of this vaccination drive. After that, Bajaj will inform the exact date and slot for the vaccination to all its employees. Bajaj will take care of all the Covid-19 related protocols at the vaccination centre to ensure a seamless and safe drive. Till now, Bajaj claims to have vaccinated its employees and their family members of age 45 years and above in the previous phase.

Recently, the company had pledged to support the family in case of the unfortunate demise of its employees due to Covid-19. Under this, Bajaj will compensate the employee’s salary up to 2 years to its family members. Along with this, up to two children of the employee will also get education assistance till graduation in any field.
