Written by Akhil Dalvi

One of India’s most valuable two and three-wheeler companies, Bajaj Auto, has announced its ‘Dominar Rides’ event as its first tour. Starting from 23rd March 2022, the 8-day tour will begin from Mumbai and end at the Rann of Kutch. During the event, riders will cover almost 2,200 km of scenic locations as they arrive at ‘India’s Great White Desert’. With its ‘Dominar Rides’ event, Bajaj Auto seeks to provide Dominar owners with experiences to cherish for a lifetime.

Purpose of the Event & Itinerary

Bajaj Auto’s new ride programme aims to promote motorcycle touring in India by organizing weeklong rides to exotic locations. Meanwhile, the ‘Great white Desert Ride’ is only the first of 2022’s programs, covering some rarely-visited locations on Rann. Along with committing towards long-haul Dominar riding, the journey will also cover Little Rann and Dholavira near the Indo-Pak border. Other sites along the way include Kalo Dungar and an archaeological site at Khadirbet before arriving at the Rann of Kutch.

For registrations, customers can visit the https://www.bajajauto.com/dominar-rides website, where they can pay for the event. The all-inclusive cost of INR 15,000 covers all accommodation, food, on-road service, and support during the ride. Sarath Shenoy, a Dominar Odyssey rider, will lead the convoy once the ride has been flagged off from Mumbai. Sarath, an experienced tourer himself, has traversed the ‘Roof of the World’ on his Dominar whilst covering over 3 lakh Km.
