‘Back-to-Life’ under Hyundai Cares 3.0 COVID-19 relief initiative in India

Hyundai Motor India Foundation, the CSR channel of Hyundai Motor India, announces a host of new initiatives to fight Covid-19. Under the Hyundai Cares 3.0 Covid-19 relief initiative, the company will ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential medical equipment. The most affected states like New Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Haryana and Telangana will benefit from this program.

The company will fast-track the entire process starting from the procurement of the medical equipment to delivery. The current situation in the country is getting worse as days pass on. The main reason for the deaths is the lack of availability of oxygen supply. Thus, Hyundai Motors, via its CSR Project ‘Back-to-life’, will help in delivering medicare oxygen equipment for the Covid-19 patients.

Measures Undertaken By Hyundai Under ‘Back-to-Life’ CSR Project

The company mentioned that its main plan is to provide the healthcare system with lifesaving medicare oxygen equipment. The list includes 700 units of Oxygen Concentrators, 10 High Flow Oxygen Plants, 225 BiPap Ventilator Machines and 200 High Flow Nasal Oxygen Machines to the states mentioned above. Hyundai mentioned that it would assist government hospitals in the installation of Oxygen Generation Plants. This is a long term target, which will make the hospitals self-sufficient. The South Korean car manufacturer will also provide medical consumables for the hospital staff.

Role Of Hyundai India In Covid-19

Since the start of the pandemic last year, Hyundai India is on the front foot to provide support. It launched a host of initiatives to help the community break the chain of spread. The company donated INR 7 Crores to PM Cares Relief Fund and INR 5 Crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Relief fund. The brand is also donating imported COVID-19 Advanced Diagnostic Test Kits worth INR 4 Crore. Hyundai also announced its partnership with Air Liquide Medical Systems to supply 1000 ventilators and In-house Development of Ambu Bag Actuator. This goes a long way to prove Hyundai’s dedication to the cause.

Hyundai Motor All Covid-19 Initiatives In A Nutshell

The South Korean car manufacturer launched a host of initiatives to help fight the Pandemic. HMIF pledged a total amount of INR 20 Crore as a relief package to help societies and local communities in the second wave. Previously, Hyundai had committed INR 30 Crore to fight the adversities in the first lockdown phase. Hyundai also mentioned that it would provide the most affected states with essential medical equipment like PPE kits, masks, and more. Along with this, Hyundai is also constantly taking care of its employees. The car manufacturer recently organised a 3-day vaccination camp for its staff aged 45 years and above.
