Audi reveals e-tron GT electric GranTurismo

Audi has introduced the all-new member in the e-Tron family, the e-Tron GT. The brand has also announced that it will simultaneously launch a high-performance RS version of the e-Tron GT called the ‘RS e-Tron GT’, both scheduled to go on sale this month. The Audi e-Tron GT Quattro and the RS e-Tron GT feature advanced aerodynamic styling, the latest technology from the German manufacturer and powerful all-wheel-drive powertrain adding to the Gran Turismo (Grand Touring) character. 

Exterior

On the outside, the e-Tron GT features a sharp design language with uncompromised aerodynamic efficiency rated with a drag coefficient of just 0.24. The Audi e-Tron GT features a sculpted bonnet that appears to be shaped by the wind, sharp front apron with multiple aero ducts to channel the air around the car, aero optimised alloy wheels, gill extractors, a wide shoulder and hip line, fastback styled roofline that meets the rear deck at the far end and a large rear diffuser to keep the air cleaner and minimise turbulence. 

Interior

On the inside, the Audi e-Tron GT features sporty seats positioned low with a wide centre console and as a four-door GT car, adult size seats in the back as well. The e-Tron GT also features Connected infotainment system with online services from Audi connect, state-of-the-art assistance systems and unique sound from the powertrain to produce three different levels of sound inside the cabin of the car. 

Powertrain

The sporty touring car features a Permanent Magnet electric motor on both the front and rear axles that puts out 476 PS of power and 630 Nm of torque 640 Nm in Boost mode. The RS e-Tron GT belts out 598 PS of power and 830 Nm torque with 530 PS in launch control and 646 PS in boost mode. The Audi e-Tron GT Quatrro achieves 0–100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and the RS e-Tron GT 3.3 seconds.
