Audi is currently offering discounts of up to 10.65 lakh on its selected range of models. This includes the Q2, A4 and A6. Reportedly the manufacturing on the Q2 models is 2020. Meanwhile, the manufacturing of the A4 and A6 sedans is in 2021. Audi has confirmed that this offer is valid on cars delivered on or before 31 August 2021. All the price reductions and prices mentioned in the report are ex-showroom.
After the discounts, the base trim of the Q2 now has a sticker price of INR 29.49 lakhs, down by 7 lakhs. The ‘Premium’ trim is now priced at INR 32.39 lakhs after a price reduction of 8.5 lakhs. The ‘Premium Plus 1’ variant now retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 35.99 lakh, which is cheaper by INR 8.65 lakhs. The feature load top-spec Premium Plus 2 retails at INR 34.49 lakhs after getting a price cut of INR 10.65 lakhs. Interestingly this top-spec ‘Premium Plus 2’ trim is now cheaper than the mid-spec ‘Premium Plus 1’ trim. Affordable by almost 1.5 lakhs on the ex-showroom price.
Under this price reduction scheme, Audi is offering the A4 Premium Plus Edition at INR 37.99 lakhs, down by 5.2 lakhs. The Technology Edition of this sedan now costs close to INR 41.99 lakhs, which is cheaper by INR 5.62 lakhs.
Similarly, following the likes of the A4, the Premium Plus Edition of the A6 has a sticker price of INR 49.49 lakhs. This translates to a price cut of almost INR 7.59 lakhs. The price for the Technology Edition sees a price reduction of INR 7.12 lakhs. Hence retailing at an ex-showroom price of INR 54.69 lakhs.
Audi has recently launched the RS 5 Sportback In India, with a starting price of INR 1.04 crore ex-showroom. Audi’s first electric vehicle in the country, the e-tron, looks promising in terms of kits and performance. We wait to see how the market responds to this product, and given the rising demand for electric vehicles in the market, we are sure this will also be a hit from the German luxury car maker.
