2020 Audi Q2 40 TFSI Quattro Review

Audi has launched the smallest Audi car in the portfolio, the Audi Q2 and at the starting price of INR 34.99 lakh ex-showroom the Q2 crossover SUV is also the brand’s most affordable car in the Indian market. In India, Audi offers 6 models starting with the Standard 40 TFSI Quattro, Standard with Sunroof priced at INR 36.49 lakh ex-showroom, Premium priced at INR 40.89 lakh ex-showroom, Premium Plus I priced at INR 44.64 lakh ex-showroom, Premium Plus II priced at INR 45.14 lakh ex-showroom and the top-of-the-line Technology trim priced at INR 48.89 lakh ex-showroom. 

The Audi Q2 is available in a single engine option in the Indian market and the crossover SUV is powered by a BS6 emission-compliant 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine with lambda control sensors that produce 190 Hp of power and 320 Nm of torque matched to a 7-speed dual-clutch S Tronic automatic gearbox and a Quattro permanent all-wheel driveline The Audi Q2 is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in 6.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 228 kmph. The crossover SUV features McPherson struts on the front with four-link rear suspension and electromechanical steering with speed-dependent power assistance. 

In terms of the exterior dimensions, the Audi Q2 measures 4,318mm in length, 1,805mm in width, 1,548mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,593mm. The SUV features LED headlamps, LED combination tail lamps with dynamic turn indicators, an octagonal single-frame radiator grille, LED headlamps, LED combination tail lamps with dynamic turn indicators, power-adjustable and heated ORVMs, multi-spoke design 17-inch alloy wheels, an integrated spoiler, shark-fin antenna, etc. 

On the inside, the Audi Q2 features Audi Virtual Cockpit – a full-colour instruments cluster with full-screen navigation maps and driver customizable display, a sporty flat-bottomed leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, Navigation plus with MMI touch, Audi smartphone interface, wireless smartphone charging, parking aid plus, sports seats, 3D graphic ambient lights, Audi sound system and more. 

The Audi Q2 can be booked from all Audi dealerships across India as well as the brand’s latest online sales channel which has been upgraded with Augmented Reality features.
