Audi has revealed the refreshed variants of the A6 and S6 with exterior changes. This facelift model is expected to hit the Indian streets sometime in 2015.

On the outside, it now gets a new singleframe grille, revised headlamps, new air dams, revised front and rear bumpers, different side sills, new tail lamps and different exhaust tips. Audi will also have an option for the LED matrix headlights on the A6, with dynamic turn signals. With the use of new composite construction, the A6 1.8 TFSI now weighs just 1,535 kg.

On the inside, the car gets revised interior colour scheme (grey and red), new trim levels and fabrics, front seats with optional massage function, MMI with Tegra 30 graphics chip etc. You also get an optional sensor-controlled automatic tailgate.

The A6 will be powered by EU6 complaint engines which pollute 22% less compared to the previous unit. The 3.0L diesel variant now produces 218 BHP and 272 BHP of power. Engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Driver assistance systems include adaptive cruise control and stop / start system, Audi side assist, active lane assist and an optional head-up display.

Pricing of the new Audi A6 is expected to be in the range of Rs. 45-60 lakh (ex-showroom).
