Ather Energy, one of the emerging electric vehicle company today announces the opening of its fast-charging public network, as Ather likes to call it, Grid, across Mumbai. In early January 2021, the electric vehicle company based in Bengaluru had announced the opening of Ather experience centre in Mumbai, and now with the introduction of these 10 new charging points across the city, Ather will aim to attract more people to come under its brand. The shift to electric vehicles is happening at a healthy pace and with the increase in fuel prices, citizens are left with no option but to choose electric vehicles, which are currently way more economical than their fuel-powered counterparts.
10 New Charging Points Across Mumbai
Ather Energy wants to leverage the increase in the demand for electric vehicles in the country and thus, it is taking massive steps towards the growth of environmentally friendly mobility in the country. In Mumbai, Ather has set up 10 charging points across the key hotspots areas which include, Runwal Anthurium, Mulund West Kala Ghoda Cafe, Fort Suba International, Andheri East Ather Space Mumbai, Linking Road Club Aquaria, Borivali K Star Mall, Chembur Celestia Spaces, Sewri Lodha Fiorenza, Goregaon Blue Tokai, Mahalaxmi Carnival Cinemas Imax, Wadala. The company plans to increase the count to 30 by the end of next year. Ather Energy confirmed that these charging stations are open for all-electric two-wheelers and four-wheelers and this facility will remain free of charge to everyone till the end of September 2021.
Ather Energy And Its Partnership With Other Mobility Companies
Recently, Ather Energy announced its partnership with Park +, which is a smart parking solution brand that allows users to locate and book parking slots, thus enabling EV owners with the ease of accessibility, curb anxiety and provide the customers with a hassle-free ownership experience. Ather Energy is also working with multiple co-operative and housing societies to build robust home charging solutions in the apartments and buildings.
