Ather Energy, one of the emerging two-wheeler electric scooter manufacturers in India, is increasingly adding more dealers to its network as the demand for electric vehicles in India is at an all-time high. The latest Ather Space, as Ather likes to call its showrooms, has come up in Jaipur near, BL Tower-2 on Tonk Road near Durgapura Flyover in association with Akhand Distributors.
Jaipur Gets Its First Ather Space
Ather Energy mentions that Ather Space acts as an experience centre where customers can visit to get a detailed overview of how an electric vehicle works. In fact, there is a fully naked electric scooter on display, which shows all the internal working and how each component is interconnected with the other. The first Ather Space came up in Bengaluru in June 2018, and since then the company expanded its presence to multiple cities which includes, Mumbai, Pune Hyderabad, Kochi and Ahmedabad. In the Jaipur outlet, the customer will now be able to experience the Ather 450X fully and get an in-depth view of the product. Test rides for Ather 450X are also now open and customers can either book their test ride slots by visiting Ather Energy’s website or by visiting the experience centre. Currently, Ather Energy has set up 3 fast-charging points, located in hotspots like Vaishali Nagar, C Scheme and Tonk Road. But, the company plans to increase the count to 10 to 12 more charging points in the near future, so that they can provide the Jaipur customers with peace of mind and stress-free rides.
Ather Energy’s Lineup Of Products
Currently, there are two products on sale, Ather 450 Plus and Ather 450X. Recently, Ather Energy via an OTA update enabled Bluetooth mode in the Ather 450X which will now enable the rider to control music and pickup/reject calls which increases safety and convenience. Ather 450 Plus is the more affordable trim that retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 140,514 but it does miss out on some features like Bluetooth connectivity, Wrap mode and also has a smaller capacity battery which results in lower driving range and peak power. The 450X has a sticker price of INR 159,524 (ex-showroom).
