Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the new Jawa 350 in India with a starting price tag of INR 2,14,950/- ex-showroom Delhi. The reimagined Jawa 350 motorcycle not only pays tribute to the iconic Jawa design. But, the motorcycle also gets a new chassis, new engine, longer wheelbase, wider tyres, higher ground clearance and a new colour way.
Jawa claims that the new Jawa 350 is the quickest accelerating and best handling classic motorcycle in the Indian market. In addition to this the Jawa 350 also claims to come with the best braking feature and is the safest classic motorcycle available in our country. All of this plus a blend of history with performance, paying homage to the brand racing history.
Jawa 350 – Design and Features
The new Jawa 350 draws inspiration from the Jawa racers of the yesteryear. The motorcycle amalgamates a thoughtful timeless design with modern technology bringing classic appeal and functionality together. The brand also reveals that the Jawa 350 is first in line to offer spirited performance. The bike comes with a classic nacelle for the headlamp, teardrop fuel tank and full front and rear fenders.
Now, the motorcycle is also available with an all-new Mystique Orange colour option in addition to the classic Maroon and Black colour ways. The motorcycle also features polished chrome and golden pinstripes highlighting premium craftsmanship, reveals Jawa. Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles also claim that the new Jawa 350 will set new industry benchmarks in fit and finish.
Jawa 350 – Engine Specification and Performance
Powering the Jawa 350 is a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The engine develops 22.5 PS of power and 28.2 Nm of torque at low rpm range. Thanks to this, the motorcycle is not just well suited for city streets but also for open road travels. The motorcycle comes with a 6-speed gearbox with Assist and Slip clutch.
The bike comes with 280mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes with Continental dual-channel ABS. The Jawa 350 also boasts a 1449 mm long wheelbase and a class-leading 178mm ground clearance. The bike also comes with a commanding yet comfortable 790 mm seat height and 194 kg of kerb weight.
