Looking to get an SUV for you? Maybe you should wait for some time. Honda India is preparing itself to unveil its made-for-India midsize SUV (code: 3US) on June 6, 2023. This will happen via a global reveal in New Delhi. This all-new SUV could get the nameplate of “Elevate”. We expect Honda to retail the Elevate later this year, starting with the Indian market first and then other markets.
Overall Design Of Honda’s Upcoming Creta Rival
Considering the spy shots we have seen till now. It is almost certain that the new Honda SUV will get proper SUV credentials. The camouflaged photos of the 3US do give us some of the design cues. We can feel a strong nose and upright proportions. Interestingly enough, the Honda dealers were shown the SUV at a private preview in Thailand. And as per reports, they seemed quite happy with the overall design.
With chunky cladding, muscular wheel arches and lots of chrome, Honda’s latest SUV will soon become the talk of the town.
With this SUV it seems Honda is aiming to make a big name in the ever-growing Indian midsize SUV market. The current top-sellers namely, Creta, Seltos, and newer additions like the Grand Vitara, Hyryder, the Taigun and the Kushaq are doing pretty well in terms of numbers.
India Launch Details And Price Range
As we know that the new Honda SUV will make its global debut in India on June 6, 2023. And it will go on sale only in August 2023. Talking of the price tag, making an estimated guess is easy. Given the other options in the segment, Honda won’t do anything too ambitious with its product. To sell in good numbers, the Japanese carmaker has to price it competitively, no two ways about it. Thus, Honda is likely to sell it in the range of INR 12 lakh to INR 19 lakh.
