Mahindra is introducing five new variants to its Scorpio-N line-up. With this, customers will now have new entry-level to mid-range petrol, diesel and AWD variants.
What Are The New Variants?
Starting with the lower end of the price bracket, we have the Scorpio-N Z2 Petrol MT E. This gets a price tag of INR 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Then we have the Z2 Diesel MT E that retails at a price tag of INR 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Scorpio-N Z2 comes with a host of features. This includes Hill Hold Assist, ESC, dual barrel headlamps with LED turn indicators, LED tail lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, 2nd-row AC vents and more.
Mahindra is also adding three new Z4 trims. First is the Z4 Petrol MT E which gets a price tag of INR 13.99 lakh. Other trims are Z4 Diesel MT E and Z4 Diesel MT 4WD E. Both of these cost INR 14.49 lakh and INR 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The Scorpio-N Z4 variants come equipped with all the necessary features as per 2022 standards. This includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, 2nd-row AC with activated carbon filter, rear wiper, washer and demister, height adjustable seat with lumbar support and likes.
The Scorpio-N is available and comes with two engine options. First is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine making 198 BHP and 380 Nm. Second is a 2.2-litre diesel that puts out 173 BHP and 400 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
Exclusive Features For Top Spec Variants
With these additions of new variants, the total variants count on offer with Scorpio N stands at 30. While base-spec variants now have additional features, there are some features exclusive to the top trims. These are a sunroof, LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED projector fog lamps, and LED sequential turn indicators. diamond-cut alloy wheels and more. On Inside, top-spec variants get features such as electric power steering, AdrenoX Connect, what3words, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, inbuilt navigation, wireless charging, leatherette interiors, leatherette wrapped steering wheel gear shift lever and like. The Scorpio N top-spec Z8L (6S) variants are available in the range of INR 19.19 lakh to INR 21.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
