Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has registered monthly domestic sales of 7,769 units for August 2022. The export numbers for HCIL stood at 2,356 units for the same period. For your reference, the company registered 11,177 units in domestic sales and exported 2,262 units in August 2021.
Honda said the demand momentum continues to grow, which is very encouraging and positive for the auto industry. With the arrival of the festive season, sales will grow ever stronger. On the supply side, Honda reiterated the issues to face hurdles arising out of the global chip shortage. Hence this is affecting the production volumes and resulting in an extended waiting period for the current bookings. Thus, Honda is working to align its production to the best efforts to tide over this prolonged shortage.
Honda is currently offering multiple discounts and benefits for September 2022. This is for its models, namely the fourth- and fifth-generation City, Amaze, Jazz, as well as the WR-V.
Honda City (Gen 5)
Customers can enjoy a cash discount of INR 5,000 or free accessories worth INR 5,496. Additionally, Honda is also offering a discount of INR 5,000 as well as a bonus of INR 7,000 on car exchange. In addition, it also includes a loyalty bonus of INR 5,000 and a corporate discount of INR 5,000. However, there are no discounts on the top-end City e:HEV Hybrid.
Honda WR-V
Customers aiming to buy the WR- can avail of a bonus of INR 7,000 on car exchange along with an additional discount of INR 10,000. Buyers of the WR-V will also get an option to leverage a corporate discount and loyalty bonus of INR 5,000 each.
Honda Jazz
For the Jazz, Honda is offering a discount of INR 10,000 on car exchange along with a bonus of INR 7,000. Furthermore, there is a customer loyalty bonus of INR 5,000 and a corporate discount of INR 3,000.
Honda Amaze
Customers get a loyalty bonus of INR 5000 along with a corporate discount of INR 3,000 for the Amaze.
Honda City (Gen 4)
For this, Honda is only offering a customer loyalty bonus of INR 5,000.
