Maruti Suzuki recently gave one of its most successful models in India a bit of an overhaul and a new engine. We’re talking about the popular Alto K10. For 2022, the brand has launched the all-new Alto K10, which now uses the HEARTECT platform. The new platform brings a host of updates plus sees the Alto K10 grow in size as well. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki is offering the 2022 Alto K10 with a host of new convenience, comfort and safety features.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 – Variants, Pricing & Colour Options
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will be available in a total of 6 variants. Out of these, 4 will be manual transmission variants, and the other 2 will come with the brand’s AGS (Auto Gear Shift) transmission. The available variants are – STD MT, LXi MT, VXi MT, VXi+ MT, VXi AGS & VXi+ AGS.
Pricing for the 2022 Alto K10 starts at INR 3.99 lakh ex-showroom for the base STD MT variant. The LXi MT and VXi MT variants retail for INR 4,82,000 & INR 4,99,500 ex-showroom, respectively. Meanwhile, the top-end manual transmission variant, VXi+ MT, costs INR 5,33,500 ex-showroom. On the other hand, the two automatic variants, VXi AGS and VXi+ AGS cost INR 5,49,500 and INR 5,83,500 ex-showroom, respectively.
As for the colours, there will be a total of 6 options to choose from. These are – Speedy Blue, Sizzling Red, Granite Silver, Silky Silver, Solid White & Earth Gold. The brand also offers two personalisation packages – Glinto & Impacto.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 – Powertrain
The 2022 Alto K10 comes with the next generation K-Series 1-litre DualJet Dual VVT petrol motor. The engine produces 67 HP of peak power at 5,500 rpm and 89 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. Maruti Suzuki is offering two transmission options with the 2022 Alto K10 – 5-speed manual & 5-speed AGS, or Automatic Gear Shift. The company claims the 2022 Alto K10 with the AGS transmission returns 24.9 kmpl. Meanwhile, the brand claims the manual variant returns 24.39 kmpl.
