Benelli has unveiled the BN125 for the European market. The small-capacity naked motorcycle will target the riders starting with their riding. The bike will also cater to markets with license restrictions. The new BN125 will join Benelli’s other 125cc models available in Europe, which include the TNT 125 and Leoncino 125
Benelli BN125 – Design
The newest 125cc Benelli’s design draws inspiration from the TNT 302. However, it packs a minimalistic design with the body graphics adding some flair. The front of the bike gets a halogen headlight and bulb indicators. On the other hand, competitors like the KTM Duke 125 offer a full-LED headlight.
The highlight of the design is the painted trellis frame. The Benelli BN 125 is available in four colours – Red, Black, White and Flash Green. All colours except for the Flash Green get a red-painted trellis frame. The Flash Green colour option gets the trellis frame painted in black. However, the Flash Green gets matching coloured alloy wheels, unlike the other colours which get black coloured alloy wheels.
Benelli BN125 – Powertrain
The motorcycle gets a 125cc 4-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine. The engine meets the latest Euro5 emission norms using a catalytic converter with oxygen sensors. For better efficiency, the engine also gets electronic fuel injection. The engine produces a maximum power of 11.1 PS at 9500rpm. The maximum torque the engine produces is 10 Nm at 7000rpm. The gearbox it uses is a 5-speed unit with a multi-plate wet clutch.
