Benelli hikes prices of TRK 502 & TRK 502X

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Benelli has hiked the prices for the  TRK 501 and TRK 502X in the Indian market. Both the motorcycles have now become dearer by INR 13,000 and INR 14,000 in terms of the ex-showroom price, respectively. The Benelli TRK 502 previously retailed at INR 5.11 lakh; now, the price has been hiked to INR 5.24 lakh. Meanwhile, the TRK 502X, which is the off-roader’s choice, now retails at INR 5.86 lakh as against INR 5.55 lakh earlier. All prices mentioned are in the ex-showroom. There’s no mechanical or aesthetic update concerned with the price hike. And hence both the motorcycles remain exactly the same.

Benelli TRK 501 and TRK 502X – A Brief Overview

Powering the motorcycle is a 500cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. The performance figure reads as 46.8bhp at 8,500 RPM and 46Nm at 6,000 RPM. The equipped gearbox is a 6-speed constant mesh unit. Braking power comes from discs set up both at the front and rear. In addition to this, riders also get the benefit of a dual-channel anti-locking braking system. A fuel capacity of 20-litres is enough for weekend getaways with fewer stops for refuelling.

The motorcycle comes with 50mm inverted forks at the front and a mono-shock with preload and rebound adjustment at the rear. Both the motorcycles received a few updates as a part of the BS6 upgrade. With this, the motorcycle benefits from backlit switchgear, aluminium frame knuckle guards, new handlebar grips and larger mirrors. The road-focused 502 trim rides on 17-inch alloys for both the front and rear wheels. Meanwhile, the off-road-focused 502X gets a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels.

Colours Options, Warranty and More

Both the motorcycles get a three-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty as standard. TRK 502X is available in three colours which are Metallic Dark Grey, Pure White, and Benelli Red. Meanwhile, for the TRK 502, customers have three colour shades to choose from. These are Benelli Red, Pure White and Metallic Dark.
