It’s no secret that Mahindra’s SUVs are in much demand lately, especially after the recent launches of Bolero Neo and XUV700. The current rising demand for SUVs in the market is helping Mahindra greatly. Furthermore, products like Mahindra Thar have created a cult following with very high demand.
Waiting Period In Details
According to sources, the Bolero Neo N10 variant is currently witnessing a waiting period of 14 to 16 weeks. Meanwhile, the N4 and N8 variants are available posts 8 to 10 weeks of the booking. Similarly, the much in demand Mahindra Thar’s Hard Top Diesel MT and AT variants have the highest waiting period of 48 to 50 weeks across the portfolio. The petrol model of the same variant, i.e. Hard Top Petrol MT and AT, holds a waiting period of 10 to 16 weeks.
The Convertible Top variant in both diesel and petrol options currently have a waiting period of 22 to 23 weeks. Reports also mentioned that the brand has stopped accepting bookings for the Soft Top. Mahindra sub-4 meter SUV offering in the form of the XUV300 is also in much demand. The entry-level variant, i.e. W4, currently has a waiting period of 27 weeks. Meanwhile, the W6, the W8 and W8(O) are available about eight weeks post-booking.

Mahindra XUV700 recently scored a perfect five-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test. This further makes the product a perfect choice in the customers’ eyes. As of now, Mahindra has started with the deliveries, as evident from images on social media. And they are aiming to deliver 14,000 XUV700 before 14th January 2022.
Chances are high that Mahindra Scorpio could become a reality in 2022. We already have multiple spy shots of the vehicle being tested across various terrains. And we assume that Mahindra is testing the prototype very rigorously and aims to carry forward the legacy of the Scorpio nameplate with the updated model as well.
