Currently, Ather has set up six fast charging points in Indore. These are located at Annapurna, Bhanwar Kuwa, Nanda Nagar, Race Course Road, Raj Mohalla, and A B Road. Alongside this, Ather plans to add 8 to 10 more charging points in the city. Ather will also help customers who wish to set up their charging station at their home or apartment. Charging infrastructure is still at a much nascent stage in India. But now, a lot is changing in this domain, as more private and government players are getting involved.

Growing Demand For Electric Two-Wheelers In The Country

In the last two years, the demand for electric two-wheelers has been relatively high. There are multiple reasons to support this case. One of the critical factors is the rising fuel price. Along with this, the Indian government and various other state governments have also started providing lucrative subsidies and incentives, which makes owning an EV much more economical. Ather Energy is also benefiting from this, along with the host of other electric mobility companies.
