Ahmedabad-headquartered White Carbon Motors has launched two electric scooters in the Indian market. The White Carbon O3 and White Carbon GT. The entry-level O3 comes with a price tag of INR 55,900 ex-showroom, and the flagship GT5 is priced at INR 1.15 lakh ex-showroom.
White Carbon O3
The entry-level electric scooter comes with features such as LED headlamps, LED indicators and LED taillamps. The scooter also comes with a 5-inch LCD digital instruments display, including speed, odometer, state of charge etc. The scooter features USB Charging, back support, large 10-inch alloy wheels and an anti-theft alarm.
White Carbon O3 Technical Specifications
The White Carbon O3 e-scooter measures 1740mm in length, 700mm in width and 1040mm in height. The e-scooter tips the scales at just 43 kgs sans battery and features a loading capacity of 120 kgs. Powering the O3 EV is a 48V 250-watt BLDC electric motor that draws power from a 48V 20AH or 48V 24AH portable battery. The battery claims to deliver a range of 60km on a single charge or 120 km/charge, depending on the battery. The brand is also offering a smart charger with an auto cut function. The O3 also comes with a Pedal Assistance system, ‘Just In Case’. The O3 comes with a top speed of 25 kmph.
White Carbon GT5
The White Carbon GT5 features LED projector headlamps, LED taillamps and LED indicator lamps. The electric scooter comes with a fully digital instruments cluster that displays speed, odometer and comes with a low battery indicator. The GT5 comes with larger 12-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres as well. The GT5 also features an ergonomically designed seat and riding back support. Also on the features list is a USB charger and side stand indicator.
White Carbon GT5 Technical Specifications
The White Carbon GT5 electric scooter measures 1850mm in length, 675mm in width, 1140mm in height. The e-scooter features a wheelbase of 1370mm and a loading capacity of 245 kgs. Powering the GT5 is a 3kW electric motor with an output of 58 Nm of torque. The electric motor draws power from a lithium-ion battery that delivers a range of around 100-150 km on a single charge. The GT5 is also capable of a top speed of 45 kmph.
