Great news for the ones looking to get Ather Energy electric scooters. Recently, Ather Energy successfully completed the installation of the 580th public fast charging point. With this, Ather Grid now has its presence across 56 cities in India. With the growing popularity and increase in sales, the company has plans to install 820 more grids. Thus, taking the count to 1,400 by the end of FY23. Currently, Ather Grids have been strategically installed across leading markets with maximum demand. Noteworthy to mention, around 60 per cent of current installations are in tier-II and tier-III cities.
Ather Energy’s Charging Ecosystem
Since its inception, Ather Energy has always prioritized building a robust charging ecosystem. This will help support the growth of the EV industry and facilitate a hassle-free transition to EVs. These Ather Grids allow EV owners to charge their vehicles up to 80 per cent at 1.5 km/min. The charging network gets the support of the Ather Grid app. Using this, all EV owners can locate and check the availability of the nearest charging stations in real-time. Ather Energy further confirmed that their fast charging network could charge all electric two-wheelers and electric four-wheelers. This facility is being offered free of charge until the end of this year.
The Road Ahead For Ather Energy
Ather Energy has also forged multiple partnerships. This includes deals with Park+, and Magenta Power. In fact, the company has also signed an MoU with the Government of Karnataka. Under this, Ather will be responsible for setting up EV charging locations in various cities. Ather Energy further mentioned that they would continue to partner with more progressive hosts.
All in all, their target is to offer EV owners easy accessibility, curb range anxiety, and streamline the adoption of electric vehicles. Ather Energy is also working closely with various Co-operative Housing Societies & Owners’ Associations. This is an attempt to help Ather owners set up home charging solutions in their apartments and buildings.
