The 2025 KTM 390 SMC R has been spotted road testing in the country. This supermoto bike, first unveiled at the EICMA 2024 show in Milan, is now being tested on Indian roads.
What’s the Buzz?
The 390 SMC R is based on the KTM 390 Adventure S and Enduro R. It features a 399cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. The bike rides on 17-inch wire-spoke wheels, making it versatile for different terrains.
Supermoto bikes are designed to handle road tarmac, dirt tracks, and flat tracks. The 390 SMC R promises to be the first sub-500cc supermoto bike in India, offering a unique riding experience. It’s expected to be priced around INR 3.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
The road tests are being conducted in various parts of India to gauge market response. KTM wants to ensure the bike meets the expectations of Indian riders before its official launch.
