2024 Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition revealed

It has been 25 years since Suzuki introduced the Hayabusa. The cult status enjoyed by the bike is a testament to the motorcycle’s popularity. Hence, the Japanese bikemaker has now introduced a 25th Anniversary Edition to celebrate this milestone.

For this edition, Suzuki is offered a unique Glass Blaze Orange & Glass Sparkle Black colour scheme. It also gets an offset black graphics. These colours will make enthusiasts remember the colour options on the 2nd gen Hayabusa.

Apart from this colour scheme, Suzuki has also offered a few unique features on this bike. These include a 25th anniversary emblem, raised Suzuki logo on the tank, etched anniversary logo on the mufflers and more. The bike also gets a gloss black cowl trim and the brake callipers along with the chain adjusters are finished in an anodized gold colour. Buyers of this bike will also get a Hayabusa Kanji logo on the drive chain plate and a single seat cowling as standard.

Suzuki Hayabusa : More Details

Apart from the aforementioned changes, the mechanicals of the bike have not been changed. The Hayabusa comes with a 1340cc four-cylinder engine. It also gets electronic throttle bodies and dual fuel injectors. The exhaust duties are handled by a twin silencer exhaust while the air induction is taken care of by Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD).

Some of the electronic aids on the bike include cruise control, bidirectional quick shifters with clutch-less up and down shifts , customisable settings for different conditions, and more.

When Suzuki introduced the Hayabusa, the bike was an instant success. Over 3,00,000 units have been sold all across the globe. The bike has awed motorcycling enthusiasts world over and continues to do so. The bike has been used for drag racing, touring or even as sports bike. The power and the handling dynamics of the Hayabusa is what made it appeal to the riders across the generations.
