The Yamaha R15M supersport bike showcases Yamaha’s racing background the best. The new Monster Energy MotoGP Edition of the R15M looks like a smaller road-legal version of the YZF-M1 MotoGP bike. Apart from the radical new graphics and Monster Energy graphics, the R15 remains the same mechanically. The new 2022 MotoGP Edition of the R15M will retail for INR 1,90,900 ex-showroom.

Thus, the R15M continues to use the Variable Valve Actuation (VVA)-equipped 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor. The engine delivers 18.4 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. The R15M also gets a Traction Control System and a Quickshifter. To prevent wheel lock-ups while downshifting, it also features a slip-and-assist clutch.

As for the suspension, the R15M uses 37mm upside-down forks at the front and a linked-type monocross suspension at the rear. Braking is taken care of with a 282mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the back. For increased safety, it also gets Dual-Channel ABS as standard.
