Royal Enfield has launched the new Scram 411 in the Indian market at the starting price of INR 2.03 lakh ex-showroom. The adventure crossover motorcycle is based on the Royal Enfield Himalayan but comes with revised ergonomics and features. The motorcycle has been designed to offer an easy-riding stance in the urban environment but is completely capable of off-roading trails. The new changes to the overall geometry of the motorcycle also make it easier to handle. Royal Enfield has also put the Scram 411 on a diet and it is effectively 6.5 kg lighter than the Himalayan.

The brand is offering the Scram 411 in seven colour options – White Flame, Silver Spirit, Blazing Black, Skyline Blue, Graphite Red, Graphite Blue and Graphite Yellow. The Royal Enfield Scram 411 starts with a price tag of INR 2.03 lakh ex-showroom, Chennai for the Graphite series colours. The Scram 411 with the Skyline Blue and Blazing Black come with a price tag of INR 2.05 lakh ex-showroom. The White Flame and Silver Spirit colour options come with a price tag of INR 2.08 lakh ex-showroom, Chennai.
Royal Enfield Scram 411 – Design and Features
The Royal Enfield Scram 411 comes with a chopped design language. The motorcycle comes with a minimalist front end which also houses a new instruments cluster. The instrument cluster looks similar to the one on the Meteor 350 but comes with a matte finish ring. The bike also comes with a new headlamp shroud and a full front fender. The Scram 411 loses the front frame of the Himalayan but gets new side panels enhancing the tank design. The motorcycle also comes with a single seat instead of the split seat of the Himalayan. The saddle height has also been reduced by 5mm making it more approachable for shorter riders.
Royal Enfield Scram 411 – Technical Specifications
Powering the Scram 411 is a single-cylinder air-cooled SOHC engine with 411cc of displacement. The brand has also tweaked the fuel injection system on the Scram 411 and the bike produces 24.3 Bhp of power and 32 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch. The motorcycle features a Half Duplex Split Cradle frame that rides on 41mm telescopic suspension on the front with 190mm of travel. The rear comes with a link-type monoshock with 180mm of wheel travel. The motorcycle comes with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, 300mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes and tips the scales at 185 kg at the kerb.
